Location Susquehanna State Park, three miles north of Havre de Grace, 410-557-7994
Access Start at Fisherman's Park at the Conowingo Dam. From Route 1 north turn right on Shuresville Road and left on Shures Landing Road.
Or start at the Deer Creek picnic area off Stafford Road in Susquehanna State Park. To reach Stafford Road, from I-95 drive north on 155. Turn right on Lapidum Road and left on Stafford Road.

Potable Water Carry in your own water.
Natural Features Gulls, shorebirds and numerous raptors (birds of prey) nest and feed near Conowingo Dam. The Greenway Trail is known for its abundance of spring wildflowers.
Historic/Cultural Features Trail passes the site of the early Stafford flint furnace. A portion of the furnace is still standing.

Description An 8' wide double track trail with a stonedust base provides a beginner ride on level terrain on the floodplain of the Susquehanna River. Interpretive signs along the trail provide descriptions of the flora and fauna.
