Access Access from Deer Creek picnic area on Stafford Road. Take I-95 to 155 north to Lapidum Road. Turn left onto Stafford Road.

Trail Mostly single track, varied terrain, moderate to difficult hills.

Hazards/Restrictions Trails come close to ledges with steep drop-offs. Riders must transverse rock steps. Helmets are highly recommended for all riders, and required for those under 16.
Potable Water Carry in all water; primitive restroom facilities are available at the picnic area.
Natural Features Wooded ridges and valleys flank the wide Susquehanna River. Trails visit hardwood forests and rolling agricultural fields with opportunities to observe herds of white-tailed deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife.
Historic/Cultural Features Trails cross the Rock Run Historic Area, which includes a working grist mill (1794), John Archer Mansion (1804), the Jersey Toll House, which collected tolls for the Tidewater Canal and a covered bridge over the Susquehanna River in the mid 1800's. Nearby the Steppingstone Farm Museum is a private museum featuring rural arts and crafts of the 1880-1920 period. Lapidum Landing, formerly known as Bell's Ferry, shipped local farm produce to Baltimore and major ports.
Camping Available at Susquehanna State Park, May-September. Mini cabins are also available. Call 1-888-432-2267 for reservations.

Havre de Grace: waterfront promenade, antique/gift shops, restaurants and museums, including Concord Point Lighthouse, Canal Museu, Decoy Museum
Aberdeen: Aberdeen Proving Ground Ordnance Museum, Cal Ripken Museum.
Port Deposit, an historic river town, offers restaurants and shops.
Nearby Darlington is a quaint rural town with antique shops.

Description The single track trail is generally fast and dry, involves small creek crossings, varied terrain and hill climbing. Advanced cyclists will enjoy exploring the challenging network of trails providing views of the Susquehanna River and the surrounding woodlands. Trails visit the Rock Run Historic Area.
