| Trail Access | Green Ridge Mountain Bike trail head Interstate 68 to Exit 62. Travel west on Route 144 for approximately two miles. Turn left onto Old Williams Road. Travel approximately one mile to Black Sulphur Road. Stay to the left and continue on Black Sulphur Road for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left into parking area. (Mountain bike symbol signs are located along the route.) |

| Natural Features | Ridge and Valley Province, predominately hardwood forest. Wildlife includes: white tailed deer, wild turkey, red-tailed hawks, bobcats and black bear. |
| Historic/Cultural Features | At the turn of the century the entire forest was clear cut and planted with apple trees by the Mertens family in the hopes of creating the "largest apple orchard in the universe." |
