	Hunting (for disabled hunters)
Location	William Houck Area Campground, Cunningham Falls State Park, 301-271-7574 This area is open only to hunters with disabilities who possess a Hunt from Vehicle Permit. A portable toilet is available in the William Houck day use area.
Game	White-tailed deer only during two week firearms and two week muzzleloader season.
Season	Check the Hunting and Trapping in Maryland Guide for seasons.
Suitable For Families?	No
Hazards/Restrictions	Permit is required.
Licenses and Permits	Hunters must possess a valid Maryland hunting license and appropriate stamps. Hunter must carry license and photo identification while hunting. Hunt from vehicle permit required. Reservations necessary. Call the park office at 301-271-7574 starting the Tuesday after Labor Day.

Recommended Gear and Safety Tips

• Leave a trip plan with a family member.
• Fluorescent orange is required for all hunters and any persons who accompany a hunter. Disabled hunters may bring another person with them to assist. That person may not hunt or possess a weapon.
• Practice safe firearms handling at all times. Respect safety zones around buildings and developed areas of the park. Be positive of your target while shooting and be aware of the area behind your target. The campground is closed, but hikers may wander into the area.
• Follow Leave No Trace outdoor ethics.
