Trail Access Trail can be accessed along Potomac Camp Road, across from the parking lot located in front of the Potomac-Garrett Resource Center. The trail is also accessible at several points along Lostland Run Road.

Time 3-5 hours
Trail Very rocky with many steep sections and stream crossings. Potential for muddy conditions when wet.
Skill Level Intermediate
Suitable For Families? Yes, with hiking experience. Not recommended for small children.

Natural Features Hardwood forests with dense areas of mountain laurel, rhododendrons and hemlock.
Wildlife includes deer, wild turkey, black bear and snakes.
Historic/Cultural Features Old sawmill remains.
Camping Primitive campsites are available along Lostland Run Road.

Description Trail drops over 600 feet in elevation from top to bottom.
Good hiking boots are recommended due to rough terrain.
Several beautiful waterfalls and other natural attractions are visible along this trail, including wildflowers in the spring.
