Incomes and property percentage ownerships of individuals are equal. 2003 tax brackets are modified for simplicity and accuracy. Other possible Subtractions, Deductions, and Dependents are not considered. County (piggyback) taxes are approximate (.025). Property owners live and pay income tax in Maryland. The land value of the property excepting the improvements is 75% the value of the property. For estate taxation, a single individual takes a one million dollar exemption and a married couple takes a two million dollar exemption. Estate Tax Rates used are 2002 rates.
