Photo of the Driver PropertyThe Maryland Department of Natural Resources announces the availability of the historic property known as the Reserve Property for restoration under the Resident-Curatorship Program. This property is located in Baltimore County, in Patapsco Valley State Park, at 16 River Road, Ellicott City, Maryland 21043.

The Reserve Property consists of a small two story stone structure constructed in the early 19th century by John Ellicott, Jr., one of the Ellicott brothers who founded the mills at Ellicott City. The dwelling is significant as it is a prime example of mill worker housing that was common in the area when Ellicott City was a major industrial center. The boundary of the curatorship has yet to be determined.
