Attention Junior Hunters
Learn About the Maryland Junior Hunter
Certificate Program
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources'
Wildlife & Heritage Service will provide Junior Hunters (age 16 and
under) with a certificate commemorating their deer or turkey taken
during the 2008-2009 hunting seasons. Each deer or turkey must be
taken to an official DNR Junior Hunter Certificate Agent where the
Junior Hunter will receive a Maryland Junior Hunter Decal and
Information Card. The card will explain how to order their
certificate. The certificate can be ordered online or by mail.
Photographs of Junior Hunters and their game can be
included for publication online in the
Maryland's Junior Hunter Photo Gallery. Photographs can also
be included on their certificate. Successful Junior Hunters (age 16
and under) are eligible for these citations available only through
the official Junior Hunter
Participating Certificate Agents. Once the
Junior Hunter has received the decal and information card, the
Junior Hunter may
apply for the Certificate online.
