The 2008 Maryland Fishing Challenge has concluded for this
year, but the excitement is not over yet. Mark your calendars for Saturday,
September 13 and plan to attend the finale at Sandy Point State Park. Come for a
day of fun in the park, and to see who will win the boat, truck and fishing
gear!

Designed to promote recreational fishing in Maryland, recognize angler efforts and inspire environmental stewardship, the 2008 Maryland Fishing Challenge began Saturday, April 12 and runs through Labor Day, September 1.
The 2008 Maryland Fishing Challenge has already entered over 1,140 anglers into the grand prize drawing by catching a citation-qualifying fish and children participating in selected fishing rodeos from across the state have been entered for special fishing trips.
