COMMERCIAL STRIPED BASS GILL NET HARVEST CLOSURE

The Secretary of Maryland Department of Natural Resources pursuant to Code of Maryland Regulation 08.02.15.12(H) announced today the closure of the 2007 striped bass commercial gill net fishery, effective 12:01 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2007. The 2007 Chesapeake Bay striped bass commercial quota is projected to be caught by the date of closure.

The striped bass commercial gill net fishery will reopen Tuesday, January 1, 2008.
