The Secretary of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, pursuant to Natural Resources Articles, §4-1102 Maryland Annotated Code, announces that a field survey will be held at 9:30 am on August 7th (rain date of August 14th) at the boat ramp at Dogwood Harbor on Tilghman Island to examine the section of Natural Oyster Bar 11-4 in the Choptank River at Dogwood Harbor and its potential to be reclassified from natural oyster bottom to barren bottom.
The area to be examined consists of all of the waters of Dogwood Harbor west of a line beginning at a point at or near the northeasterly corner of Avalon Island, defined by Latitude 38° 42' 33.3" North and Longitude 76° 19' 46.7" West; then running approximately 30° True to a point at or near Dogwood Harbor Lt 2, defined by Latitude 38° 42' 35.3" North and Longitude 76° 19' 45.3" West; then running approximately 306° True to a point at or near the shore, defined by Latitude 38° 42' 43.1" North and Longitude 76° 19' 58.7" West.
All interested parties are invited to attend and witness the survey.
