PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS TIDAL POCOMOKE RIVER BLACK BASS REGULATIONS

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Fisheries Service will hold a public meeting to discuss the repeal of the regulation prohibiting an individual from possessing black bass while fishing on the Pocomoke River and its tributaries from July 15 through August 31. The meeting will provide the Department with the opportunity to discuss options for regulatory changes to the bass fishery and to hear public input.

The public meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at the Worcester County Library Snow Hill Branch, 307 North Washington Street, Snow Hill, MD. All interested parties are invited to attend and participate.
