COMMERCIAL STRIPED BASS HOOK & LINE FISHERY CLOSURE

The Secretary of Maryland Department of Natural Resources pursuant to Code of Maryland Regulation 08.02.15.12(H) announced today the closure of the 2006 striped bass commercial hook and line fishery, effective 12:01 a.m., Monday November 13th, 2006, as recommended by the Tidal Fishery Advisory Commission.

The hook and line portion of the combined gill net and hook and line quota is expected to be caught by the date of closure.
