Pursuant to Natural Resources Article, §4-1039, Annotated Code of Maryland, the Secretary of Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has announced that the waters of Worcester County will be closed to the harvest of razor clams or any other species of soft shell clam by hydraulic dredging from June 1 through September 14, 2006 inclusive. This closure is consistent with Natural Resources Article §4-1023 that prohibits catch of hard shell clams by hydraulic dredging from June 1 through September 14 in Worcester County.
