2nd Day Fish On

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Upper Bay
Location: Bay Bridge

This is my 3rd report the the season and what a good start . We went out on Saturday thinking we had until 2 or 3 o'clock before the weather would change for the worst. Well it did and we didn't catch anything, I should of listened to the weather - I would of save some money and a beating on my boat and body . Well that is fishing, when you have a chance to go you go!.

Well enough of the bad news let's talk about Mothers Day Sunday . I only a had a short time to fish because of family stuff. The Doc ( fishing Partner) and I with my nephew who loves to fish started at the LP buoy. We were trolling south on an out going tide torward the Bay Bridge. I saw some fish on the sounder but nothing great . There were a lot of boats north of us near Love Point so I tried to stay away from them, glad I did . By the time we got to the Bay Bridge The Doc said we should go under and turn around on the other side and head back up north . When we started to make the turn we caught our first of 4 fish . We did this 4 times, 4 fish - what a great day . Well I lost one at the boat so true to my report I kept 3 and lost 1 . Back at the dock by 3pm.

Sizes, 38", 36" and 28" on the nose.
