Fishing Non Stop

Type: Freshwater
Location: Small Pulbic Lake

I was able to get out and fish a small public lake a few hours last Wednesday just before the coastal low-pressure front moved through the region and fishing was just plain crazy. 118 total fish, mostly Bluegills and Redear Sunfish on ultra light gear and 4 pound test. However, I did manage 14 Largemouth Bass on simple bobber and garden worm fishing. Seven of those bass were in excess of four pounds. Here are a few pics. The falling barometer, coupled with low cloud cover and surface wave action strongly influenced the bite as the coastal low approached. Had two bass just shy of five pounds. Also got a roughed-up thumb and palm holding those bigger fish for the camera! Great trip!
