Fishing at Cunningham Falls Lake

Type: Freshwater
Region: Western
Location: Cunningham Falls Lake

I went out today for the second day in a row in search of some big trout on the kayak. Was successful in catching and releasing 13 trout today. All trout were around 11 - 12 inches. I was able to catch a sunfish just over 10 inches. Took a few pics of it I order to see if it is a citation Redbreasted Sunny or a barely undersized Redear Sunny. Thank you MD DNR for producing such great fisheries! Thatís 21 trout and 4 big sunnys just in the past 2 days!

DNR Resposne: It is difficult trying to identify your sunfish from the picture but it looks like it may be a Red Breast Sunfish but a large Bluegill or Longear Sunfish is not out of the question.
