Big Cat on the Potomac

Type: Tidal
Region: Southern
Location: Potomac River

Today was the first outing of the year for Capt. Kirk Ingram aboard his boat the "BIG BOY II." This was his fathers, Kirk Ingram Sr. livelihood before passing away a few years ago. He has been trying to get the hang of the Potomac after fishing Solomons Island with his Dad for years. Today he and Travis Franklin proved to him that there are big cats in the Potomac. Not bad for the first trip out this year and he found his own hole. This beauty was caught in 35 feet of water on shrimp.
