Fishing out of Dargan
Type: Freshwater
Region: Western
Location: Potomac River
Pat O’Toole and I ventured out at Dargan this past Friday and enjoyed a good day. The first fish of the day came on the buzz bait, but that surface action did not prevail. I did have one small muskie take a swipe at it but he did not get hooked-up. Pat did catch a 14.25 inch smallie. It is the one in the picture. Three inch chartreuse baits were the best producer as we boated four species: smallmouth, bluegill, goggle eye and a few catfish.
