Eastern Shore Snakehead

Type: Tidal
Region: Eastern
Location: Wicomico River

Species: 29" Northern Snakehead

Description of fishing trip: High tide going out, Sunny 81 degree day, Calm Winds, Shallow water with high vegetation and muddy substrate

Tackle: Bass rod and reel, 12 lb. mono line, Bullet weight with 1/0 hook, 4 inch green swim tail worm

History: 4th Northern Snakehead personally caught in this location. 1st= 31", 2nd= 25", 3rd= 29", 4th= 29" (All killed upon catch and documented with photos)

Eastern Shore Snakehead

Type: Tidal
Region: Eastern
Location: Wicomico River

I caught my second Snakehead of the year out of the Wicomico River river this evening around 7:30 pm near the same location as my previous one. I was fishing near Brew River restaurant in the Wicomico River on low tide using a dark green worm on 7/23/14 when this 31" Snakehead was caught.

Snakehead Caught in Wicomico

Type: Tidal
Region: Eastern
Location: Wicomico River

Taylor caught this snakehead on 6/11/14 at 7:30 p.m in Wicomico River, Salisbury, MD using a dark green and neon green tube. It was low tide, dropping barometer, mid to low 70's just before sunset approximately 20 yards off the shore slow jigging. Reported to the D.N.R via phone and photographed by a D.N.R officer the night of the catch. Dispatched directly after catching and placed in cooler for fisheries.
