The officers and children were treated to lunch at the Outback Steak House in Glen Burnie after their morning of shopping.

NRP along with various law enforcement agencies will take close to 100 children holiday shopping.
The program gives children a chance to shop for their family, as well as get acquainted with police officers in a positive way.
Baltimore County – NRP continues their investigation of a poaching complaint that took place on Friday, December 8, in the area of Sparks and Carroll Roads on private property. A large buck was illegally shot from the roadway and two individuals were seen dragging the deer from the private property. The two left the deer and fled in a blue pickup truck after hunters, legally hunting on the property, saw them.
A non-hunting deer tag was issued to the hunters by NRP and the deer was secured on an ATV in the back of a pickup truck parked on the property away from the roadway. Later that same evening NRP received another call from the same hunters. They reported that when they returned to their truck someone had returned to the property and cut the head off of the deer. The Maryland Natural Resources Police urge anyone that has information on this incident to the Gwynnbrook Office at 410-356-7060.
Garrett County – On Monday, December 11, at 4:30 p.m. NRP charged Thomas Bradley Upole, 30, of Oakland with baiting deer on state owned land and use of a permanent tree stand on state owned land without a permit on the Hutton Tract of the Garrett State Forest north of Oakland. NRP observed Upole allegedly hunting from the tree stand over a pile of apples and corn. NRP was acting on a complaint from a concerned citizen.
The Maryland Natural Resources Police urge anyone that has information of a poaching violator or any natural resource violation to call the CATCH-A-POACHER 24 HOUR HOTLINE at 1-800-635-6124.
Worcester County – On Monday, December 11, NRP charged Barry Allen Mitchell, 37, of Frankford Delaware, with theft over $500. Mitchell allegedly stole an ATV from hunters in the Shavox Church Road area on November 25. Mitchell was released after posting bond. Delaware State Police assisted NRP with investigation.
