BPW Approves $1.5 Million in Program Open Space Funds for Baltimore County


On November 15, Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. announced that the Board of Public Works approved $1,523,401 in Program Open Space funds for two projects in Baltimore County.  Dundee and Saltpeter Creeks Park will receive $850,134 to construct a canoe launch, canoe storage building, pedestrian bridge and boardwalk overlook and expand the trail and parking lot.  Chesapeake Village Park will receive $673,267 to design and construct a waterfront park to include a boardwalk, day-use piers, boat ramp, athletic field, trails, playground, picnic areas, two comfort stations, parking lots and a nature interpretation area.
