Actions Taken on Proposed Changes In 2004
The Secretary of Natural Resources approved the following actions:
- Bear Creek - The Department does not recommend changing this area to an all time speed limit. However, responsible for your wake signs should be placed at each end of the yacht club.
- Goose Harbor - The Department will not implement a speed regulation but the NRP will increase patrols concentrating on PWC distance violations.
- Deep Creek Lake - Glendale and Rt 219 Bridges -: The Department will enact a regulation requiring all vessels to go through the Rt 219 and Glendale Bridge on the right half of the bridge. The Department should install signs on each bridge that indicate, “Keep Right” to facilitate the direction of travel.
