Maryland State Parks have thirty-three accessible playgrounds across the state. All have been designed for children between the ages of 5 to 12 years of age. Adult supervision is recommended. Play Safe!

• Gunpowder has four playgrounds in the Hammerman Area.

• Tuckahoe: playground is located at Cherry Lane Picnic Area next to accessible Comfort Station and accessible Picnic Shelter.
• Martinak has two playgrounds.

Southern

• Sandy Point has seven playgrounds.

• Deep Creek Lake: playground is located above Lake across from accessible Comfort Station #2.
• New Germany: playground is located above parking for accessible Lake Warming Hut/Bath House; next to CCC - built Shelter and Comfort Station.
• Rocky Gap: playground is located between Lake Habeeb Loop Trail and accessible Comfort Station and Clover Hill Shelter across from Golf Course.
• Cunningham Falls: playground is located between Houck Area accessible Bath House and Lake Picnic Area near accessible Food Concession.
• Fort Frederick: playground is located past accessible Fort Buildings---needs a future accessible Comfort Station here.
• Greenbrier: playground is located across from accessible North Comfort Station and near accessible Lake Bath House with numerous accessible Picnic Pads with accessible Tables.
