The Maryland Envirothon is an environmental program that emphasizes the interdependence of natural resources and hands-on learning experiences with teachers, community members, and natural resource personnel. This annual state-wide event is sponsored by the local Soil Conservation Districts, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, the Maryland Department of Agriculture, the Maryland Department of the Environment and the United States Department of Agriculture.
